hey peter! first off, man great pictures bro. loving your work. alright on to the business. I stumbled onto your site while I was searching for reviews on the 5d mark 2 and how it does in low light photography. It was great reading your write up on it along with the pictures showing the ISO. Okay now here's where I think it gets really interesting. As I was perusing your site I noticed you also do bboy photography! Man and let me tell you, that totally rocked my socks. I am currently really interested in bboy photography as well being here located in Seoul Korea. And I'm sure you know about Koreans and bboying. Well anyways, I was at a bboy jam the other day and like most bboy jams the lighting is pretty dark like club dark with strobes going every where. Currently I've got the 5d classic along with an EF 24-70 2.8 L. Pretty much the whole night I had my ISO at 3200, my aperture at 2.8 and the highest shutter speed I could grab was 1/100. and I'm sure you know by now but for bboying 1/100 ain't gonna cut it.

So I was gonna say you got any advice for me on this? I'm currently thinking about upgrading to the 5d mark 2 at the end of this month and am thinking about picking up a fast prime to go along with it ( like a 85mm 1.8... even though it's a bit long I hear the auto focus is on point).

Man, really glad I stumbled onto your site. You can be sure that I'll be checking it every now and again to see your stuff. Keep doing what you do, most definitely dope sauce. peace!

Rachel - I agree... Pu’uhonua was amazing. I was only there for 30 mins, but in that time I saw a sea turtle on the beach, the amazing Tikis and the whole place was absolutely beautiful during sunset. I felt so relaxed after leaving that place.

Wonderful pictures! Interestingly, the flag at the USS Arizona memorial was at half-staff when we were there, too, right after Teddy Kennedy's death. I wonder if it's always like that because it's a memorial, or if it was just a coincidence?

Love your pictures of the Pu'uhonua, too. What an amazing place.
